The Half Split Pose…

Do you want to know which hamstring is tighter than the other? Half Split is a pose that will expose this imbalance very quickly. This allows us to focus attention where is it needed most. If you notice this to be the case, spend a little extra time on that side.

Alignment and Execution Tips

Kneel and bring your right foot forward so that your hips are stacked over your left knee.

Flex your right foot, keep a slight bend in your knee. Place your hands on the ground and extend your chest forward and down towards your right shin.

Breathe here for up to two minutes and then switch sides.
