This video has been doing the rounds over the last 2-weeks. Title, “17 year old-girl performing movements most guys can’t do,” it display an unnamed girl working out at CrossFit Bergen in Norway.
The video details her achieving a variety of movements such as ring push-ups, clean and jerking 55-kgs, doing multiple strict pull-ups, bar muscle-ups, ring muscle-ups, front squatting 85-kgs, easily completing kettlebell swings at 36-kgs, doing handstand push-up (both standard and kipping) with ease, deadlifting 105-kgs, practicing wall rope climbs, bench pressing and then knocking out several backflips just to show us all that she is also well versed in gymnastics.
I was impressive when I saw it but when I started to see friends and people who would never usually share or talk about anything fitness related, it became clear how intriguing the video is. It has already had over 400,000 views since being uploaded on October 26, 2012.
Regardless of age, it is an impressive performance. The only thing we don’t see in the 5-minute video is her metabolic condition. Although we may not need to wait long because with talent and strength like this, this young girl may just appear at CrossFit Games sooner rather than later.
