It was just last Wednesday the 23rd of January, when 28-year-old Staff Sgt. David Albright was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with Valor.
Sgt Albright received the medal for his heroic actions while under fire following a Taliban ambush in Afghanistan last year.
The Bronze Star Medal is the fourth highest combat decoration.
Albright was among six members of the Oregon Air National Guard’s 125th Special Tactics Squadron who were awarded medals.
Besides serving in the United States Air Force, Albright is also a father, and recently opened CrossFit North Pacific in Washougal, WA in June.
