Great write up and I like the honesty.
Paleo, Zone, etc. doesnt’ work for everyone. You gotta find what works for you and go with it. As Katie mentioned Paleo is a start but not the end.
I do like the emphasis on real foods though. Since I made the switch it has helped a tremendously.

For a soda replacement try Crystal Geyser sparkling waters They come in mild flavors (no sweetener) – lime, lemon, orange, mixed berry. Fizzy goodness without the yucky additives in diet sodas.
