Hammer Time! The Rogue SISU War Hammer

Ok let me get this out in the open… I am a huge fan of Rogue products.

Established in 2006, Rogue has fast become one of the premier equipment suppliers for the CrossFit community. For a company that just celebrated its 5th birthday, it is amazing to see how far they have come in such a short period of time.

Rogue Fitness’ success is driven in large part to the fact they listen to their customer base, and simply put; they design equipment that makes CrossFit more fun!

That is why I am so excited to announce that another Rogue product has just hit their website.

So what is it? Well, it’s non other than the new Rogue sledgehammer. Titled the SISU War Hammer, 42 inches long, 14 pounds when empty and adjustable to up to 28 pounds.

From the videos on Rogue’s site it seems pretty indestructible. Sure you could go out and get yourself a cheap sledgehammer, but bear in mind you risk having the head come flying off in the midst of a workout.

The fact this is a custom welded, means the chances of such an incident is unlikely. Plus the added fact the sledgehammer was built with the help of 2009 Games champion, Mikko Salo, leaves me to believe this will be a great addition to anyone’s training equipment.

I have yet to get my hands on one, but if you or anyone you know have tried it let us know what you think in the comments below.
