CrossFit Games Individual Workouts Released

2012 CrossFit Games Individual Schedule

2012 CrossFit Games Individual Schedule

We’re now just a couple of days out from the 2012 CrossFit Games, and HQ has released the schedule, and majority of the individual workouts.

Usually competitors are kept guessing until the final hour to find out what workouts they will be doing, but this year they have made the earliest release of the events in this Games history. They have, however, still kept us guessing a bit, with a handful of events still to be announced.

New movements to schedule this year are bar muscle ups, split snatches with alternating legs, medicine ball throws and football sled drives. At the same time, there are also a few exercises returning, like the clean ladder, and the 20 foot rope climb.

Just like last years Games, the event will use a points scoring structure, with 50 and 100 point scoring tables used in all events. All competitors will compete up until Saturday, with the first cut-off starting after the clean ladder. From here, the field will be reduced to 36, then 24, and then 18 for the final workout.
