Tears of Joy From Annie Thorisdottir

After missing the 2013 CrossFit Games through injury, Annie Thorisdottir returned to competition in fine style finishing 2nd overall in the 2014 CrossFit Games.

Iceland Annie fell just shy of winner Camille Leblanc-Bazinet but showed the world she is still a force to be reckoned with.

Shortly after being crowned the second fittest women on earth, Thorisdottir fronted the media. In front of a jam packed tennis stadium at the StubHub Center, Thorisdottir broke down in tears. She was clearly overjoyed by her comeback.

Thorisdottir cited her back injury less than two years earlier as the biggest obstacle to overcome in her career. In her interview she held back tears when talking about it.

Check out Thorisdottir addressing the media in the video above.
