2012 Reebok CrossFit Games Open: 12.4 Day Three Results

Day three into the fourth week of the 2012 CrossFit Games Open and the past 24-hours has seen a slight shift in the leaderboard. Both the women’s and the team’s leaders were unaffected and were able to maintain their 1st place position. It was the men’s division that saw an overnight change to the leader board.

No one has yet been able to surpass Neil Maddox’s score of 323, although some of the bigger names such as Kristan Clever and Annie Thorisdottir are yet to post their scores.

Overnight, Michele Letendre posted the highest score for the women with 266-reps, which pushed her into 2nd place knocking Emily Friedman (259-reps) down to 5th.

In 3rd place sits another “sdottir,” only it’s not the famous Annie but Katrin Tanja Davidstottir (250-reps) training out of CrossFit BC.

Emily Bridgers (260-reps) holds on to 1st place while Gretchen Kittelberger moves into 10th place with her 251-rep performance.

Rich Froning has once again cemented his place as the person to beat this season, posting his score of 309-reps, securing him 1st place and leaving Orlando Trejo (270-reps) in 2nd.

Jason Khalipa (297-reps) now sits in 7th after Sean Thomson posted his 264-reps giving him 3rd. Rounding out the top ten is Justin Allen with his 268-reps.

Despite NorCal CrossFit posting the highest score for workout 12.4, with a total of 1575 they were unable to knock Raw Training out of 1st place. NorCal CrossFit now sit in 4thwhile Diablo CrossFit Anejo (1512-reps) takes second. They are followed by Front Range CrossFit (1515-reps) in 3rd.

Matt and Cherie Chan’s CrossFit Verve, has made its appearance in the top ten taking out 9th place with 1538-rep. They are followed by CrossFit Omaha in 10th with 1511-reps.

There is less than 24-hours left in Reebok CrossFit Games Open workout 12.4 and with a few big teams and names yet to post their scores it will be interesting to see what happens to the leader board overnight.

In the meantime rest up those legs because 150-Wall Balls is sure to mean many people like myself will be greeted with the infamous DOMS.
