Julie Foucher - New Leader in 2012 CrossFit Games Open

Julie Foucher – New Leader in 2012 CrossFit Games Open

The competition is heating up in the women’s half of the Reebok CrossFit Games Open, with Annie Thorisdottir being knocked of the number one position.

Last year’s winner had been leading the competition all week after posting the 4th best score in workout 12.3 (519 reps), but Iceland Annie has now slipped to third on the leaderboard with a number of late scores being posted today.

The new leader is last years 5th place getter, Julie Foucher, who has the second best score for the third week’s workout with 531 reps. Andrea Ager from South California has also leapfrogged Thorisdottir and is in second place overall, after pulling out 501 reps.

With just hours remaining in the week three workout the burning question is where Kristan Clever will end up.

Clever, the 2012 champion, was last weeks leader and is yet to post a score for workout 12.3.

To follow the leaderboard live, all the updates can be found at the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games website.
