The last of four men charged over the shooting death of CrossFit coach Joe Lengel has now pleaded guilty over the weekend.

The owner of CrossFit Toledo Intensity Fitness was shot and killed outside of his affiliate on Monday, November 19, 2012, while arriving for the morning session.

19 year old Devonte Harris has now admitted to robbing Joe Lengel outside his box, CrossFit Intensity, in Toledo last November.

He told a US court he and four others were waiting for a different victim – one they were told would be carrying cash and drugs – when they mistakenly confronted Lengel. The 57 year old was shot dead during the ambush.

All four men arrested over the murder – Harris, 35 year old Chad Brown, 31 year old Jason Kuhns and 34 year old Matthew Managhan – have now pleaded guilty to the murder and face a life sentence with a minimum of 25 years behind bars.

The final suspect, teenager Deitrekk Boone, remains on the run.

As well as being the coach and owner of his box, Joe Lengel placed 11th in the 2011 and 6th in the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games 55-59 Masters Division.
